Harry’s Advice: get out, get talking, get creative.

My name is Harry. I have used drugs recreationally. They haven’t brought me anything but sadness for years, but for one reason or another I have found it hard to kick the habit.

Something has happened in my life recently that has brought me a lot of stress. Rather than turn to drugs or drink, I had the opportunity of working with Greg and the group around the area I live in. I wasn’t sure at first, I hadn’t been in a church for quite some time.
As soon as I arrived I knew it was going to be fine. Greg was on fine form, and the rest of the group were so easy going and non-judgemental. The next few weeks we went to other places around the area and found out so much. It was good to be listened to and it was good to listen.
I am at a point in my life where I may have to go away for a while. Although I am devastated, I have to say I have been clean since I got busy. And this is because of the project we worked on.
I hope everyone continues to get on with each other and stays in touch. I just want to say thank you to the people who funded this. it was a great opportunity and I got a lot out of it.
Thanks.
